The Para European Dogdance Championships, shortened to PEDC, will be hosted alongside the Open European Heelwork to Music & Freestyle Championships 2024.

Ring
Main ring size: appr. 20 x 24 m

Preparation ring size: appr. 10 x 10 m

Every country can send 2 Para competitors – there will be NO team competition for PEDC.

Youngest possible entry for the PEDC are born in 2008.

Dogs of all breeds – with or without pedigree – are allowed to be entered.

The dogs have to be older than 18 months on the day of competition as well as have a valid rabies vaccine.

The handlers must provide identification of the dog. (via chip/tattoo & international dog passport)

Please be aware of the Austrian laws regarding animal wellfare as well as that Lower Austria has a list of dog breeds in place that are required to be muzzled and on leash at all times.

How to enter?
Please fill out the excel sheet with all necessary details for the teams attending and send it to the following e-mail address:

This goes for any and all competitors.

How to pay?
The entry fee can be paid through bank transfer.

Para competitors are asked to put their last name, country of origin.

Country of origin as well as category can be shortened to acronyms.

Examples:

Country acronyms:

Spain – ESP

Germany – GER

The needed bank account details will be sent in the confirmation e-mail.

Para competitor: 80EUR / Handler & Dog

Rules
The competition is regulated by the OEC rules.

Judges will be using the OEC judging sheets.

It is primarily a Freestyle competition, the teams are welcome to include as many HTM elements as they would like.

The music length is a minimum of 2 but no longer than 3 minutes.
